Just a few more shots to get you "in the mood."

BOMB Forum

Schedule Notes:

The highlights and classics of Moab (and Fruita if you can make it) will expose you to some of the world's best Mountain Biking.  The schedule leaves enough time on trail to allow everyone to fully enjoy the rides, the terrain and for us to FELLOWSHIP on the trails.

Some of you might be wondering about the choice of dates.  From a climate standpoint - this is the best time of year (and early fall) to ride in Moab.  Summer temperatures often exceed 100 degrees in the summer...NOT a fun riding environment.  We will keep the rides on an easy going schedule to account for several factors; pure ride enjoyment, fellowshipping and keeping in mind that this will be the first outing for many of you that can not ride throughout the winter.

If enough "pounders" sign up for the event and really want to rip up some trails, we'll schedule alternate ride leaders to rip it up with them.

Be sure to look over the Tips and What to bring lists as well.

This is your event, please help make it great for you - participate in on-going discussions here!

Schedule (SAMPLE SCHEDULE FROM 2006! Will change for 2007):

This is not a hard and fast schedule, it sure would be great if you can take part in as many activities as possible to enhance global BOMB fellowship.  If you have ANY comments or suggestions, please let them fly in the BOMB Forum.

Monday and Tuesday

Many BOMB'ers will be in Moab early.

Check with Keith Donaldson for family rides/hikes if you'll be in Moab early.

Rides - Moab - Porcupine Rim - Sylvia's Memorial Ride

bullet

Sylvia, a 14 year old girl, lost her life on Porcupine Rim just about a year ago.  We'll place a cross in her honor earlier in the week, all BOMB riders are encouraged to stop and pray for her family and take a moment of silence in her memory during this ride (take some pics to send to her family too).  Her parents have been contacted and are aware of this memorial and have given us permission to do this rider in her memory.
